In terms of implant modeling, Exocad is today the most powerful and flexible tool. From the personalized pillar to the Ackerman bar, everything is always extremely fast, efficient and intuitive. The complete configuration of each library is the strength of Exocad and the factor that distinguishes it from competing software. All anatomical shapes of the elements are fully configurable by the user by inserting standard anatomy from various manufacturers or directly importing an independently scanned anatomy. The implant libraries are fully configurable in a simple and limitless way. This allows the end user to use a variety of libraries.

With the Exocad Implant Module, designing custom abutments is easy and simple. When designing bridges, the software will ensure that all the pillars that hold the bridge have the same insertion axis. The design of screwed bridges, crowns and clevises also becomes child's play. Take advantage of our advanced screw channel design to simplify later ceramic layering and minimize the risk of cracking. Custom pillars and suprastructures can be designed together in the same case. If the milling parameters for the abutment and the suprastructure are correctly taken into account during the design phase, the manufacture of all the parts at one time becomes possible - no need to go through an intermediate step of scanning the abutment manufactured so to design the suprastructure. You have the choice to internalize or outsource production. Major production centers will accept Exocad-designed files.

Barre module![]() |
The Barre module allows a fast and easy realization of implant bars, as well as the advanced design of custom bars. The bar is designed taking into account the complete anatomical restoration. Attachments or retentions can be added to the design: cylindrical holes or arbitrary geometries can be cut to weld or glue prefabricated attachments to the bar. Thanks to its complex design options, the Exocad bar module allows you to design dental bars that address complex clinical situations, providing maximum comfort for the patient. Producing bars with optimal fit requires an ultra-precise scanner. Our software offers integrations with high-precision scanning devices, including touch scanners to ensure high process reliability.

Model building module
|
The model building module will help you create physical models from intraoral scans or dental scan. Design of models with detachable segments (using prefabricated bases) and design of monolithic models (where just die preparation is detachable) is supported.

Temporary module![]() |
With the temporary module, temporary crowns and bridges can be designed using the shell technique. Temporaries are created in relation to the preoperative situation scan: the shape of the temporary crown / bridge, can be copied from the original anatomy (if the original tooth is in good condition) or via a library of morphology.

Denture module![]() |
With the upcoming denture module, Exocad will provide a digital solution for the design of complete dentures. The analysis of the model can be performed numerically and the results will be used for a suggestion of automatic configuration of tooth placements. The prosthesis can be machined, printed or produced by combining different methods.
